Differentiating Neuropsychiatric Syndromes in Critical Illness
Diary the date for July's ACLP webinar
The Critical Care Psychiatry SIG is sponsoring the Academy’s July webinar on Zoom:
Is this NMS? Differentiating neuropsychiatric syndromes in critical illness
Wednesday, July 9, 12.30-1.00 PM EST
Trainee presenter is Jennifer Li, MD, MS, PGY-3 psychiatry resident, Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, alongside discussant Joseph Dragonetti, MD, associate residency director, clinical assistant professor of psychiatry, Wake Forest University School of Medicine.

Dr. Li’s clinical case exemplifies common diagnostic and management challenges in critically ill patients.
Dr. Dragonetti will provide a dialogue surrounding the psychiatric impact of critical illness and related interventions, examination of patients with impaired consciousness, and the challenge of delineating the etiology of common, overlapping neuropsychiatric syndromes.
The case presentation and facilitated discussion, followed by a live audience Q&A session, provides trainees with an opportunity to learn about C-L Psychiatry and augment C-L education at their institutions. Attendees will learn how to succinctly present a case, observe C-L psychiatrists work through diagnostic challenges, and appreciate management dilemmas that arise in C-L Psychiatry.
