Psychiatry Case Discussion for Hospitalists

We're excited to announce our interactive case discussion series for hospitalist physicians and APPs! We are launching quarterly 45-minute interactive webinars on the care of medically hospitalized patients with psychiatric or behavioral challenges. Please spread the word to your hospitalist colleagues. Psychiatry physicians and APPs are also welcome to attend.

Case Discussion #1
Two psychiatrists from the interprofessional education subcommittee of the Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry (ACLP) and a hospitalist from the Society of Hospital Medicine (SHM) will co-facilitate a case discussion on agitation management in the hospital setting. We hope to teach participants how to "think like a psychiatrist" when approaching an agitated patient in several nuanced clinical situations and identify and address sources of interprofessional tension in these clinical scenarios.
