Description: This presentation will review three of the key delirium studies published this past academic year (2022–2023). These will include the 6-year outcomes of the SAGES study (Kunicki et al, JAMA Internal Medicine, 2023), the AID-ICU trial of haloperidol to treat ICU delirium (Andersen-Ranberg et al, NEJM, 2022), and the prospective 2-year CASCADE study that investigated delirium in association with neurofilament light chain (Krogseth et al, Lancet Healthy Longevity, 2023).
