  In 2015, two communities of practice within American Society of Transplantation (Psychosocial and Pharmacy) created a task force to analyze the problem of non-adherence in the transplantation setting. The papers begins by summarizing the risk factors for non-adherence and tools for assessment of non-adherence. The article also outlines a series of best practice recommendations, from educational interventions, psychotherapy and use of technology.
