Workshops from recent Annual Meetings

If you are considering submitting a paper to Journal of the Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, you might wish to review two recent workshops at our Annual Meetings.

The Lifespan of Creating Evidence-Based Manuscripts: From Poster to Publication (2023). The objectives of the workshop were to recognize the potential value of advancing nascent scholarship to a peer reviewed manuscript, to apply diverse methodologies to expand or enhance existing posters, and to understand common obstacles to publication and strategies to overcome these. Journal of the Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry: Pearls and Pitfalls in Submitting to the Official Journal of the ACLP (2021). The objectives of the workshop were to review the process by which articles are considered and published in the journal, to inform submitting authors about best practices for successful publication.
