‘Our presenters have done a wonderful job putting research findings into context’

Details on each monthly ACLP webinar—including recordings and how to register for upcoming webinars—are on the Academy website under the News & Publications/ACLP Webinars dropdown from the home page.

Many of the recent sessions are ACLP Virtual Journal Clubs—eight so far since last year’s launchwith some sessions attracting more than100 attendees.

Coordinator Chris Celano, MD, FACLP, says: “I have been very pleased with the ACLP Virtual Journal Club! Our presenters have done a wonderful job putting research findings into context, and attendees have asked excellent and thoughtful clinical questions.

I hope the ACLP Virtual Journal Club continues to be a great resource for members, both by enhancing knowledge about C-L Psychiatry topics and by making it easier to maintain C-L Psychiatry subspecialty certification.

Club sessions on Zoom focus on articles from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology’s Article-Based Continuing Certification pathway for C-L Psychiatry.

The next session is on the subject of Substance Use in the Perinatal Period:

Wednesday, October 9, 2024, 12:30-1:00 PM EST

This research paper being discussed will be presented by Neeta Shenai, MD, an associate professor of psychiatry at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health.
