The fellowship comprises rotations at a city public hospital (Bellevue Hospital Center,) A university tertiary care center (NYU Hospital), and a Veterans Affairs hospital (VA New York Harbor Healthcare System.) Our large faculty encompass diverse areas of expertise, including C-L psychiatry, reproductive psychiatry, addiction psychiatry, and double-board neurology/psychiatry. In addition to time on the inpatient consultation-liaison service at each hospital, fellows rotate through numerous outpatient integrated care settings including HIV, Transplantation, Oncology, Women's Mental Health, Primary Care-Mental Health, Behavioral Neurology, Multiple Sclerosis, and the Program for Survivors of Torture. High-quality didactics are taught by a wide variety of clinical faculty and focus on providing fellows with a sophisticated framework for approaching complex cases in medical and surgical settings. Mentorship of each fellow is geared towards identifying and developing specific areas of interest, increasing confidence in advanced clinical skills, and cultivating fellows' scholarship abilities in order to promote their academic contributions to the field.
