The president’s Annual Meeting theme this year, Promoting Whole Health Through Innovative and Integrative Approaches to C-L ‎Psychiatry, highlights the breadth of our work in C-L Psychiatry and embraces our roles in caring for the whole person. We have a rigorous scientific program and as always multiple opportunities to enhance professional and social connections.

Reflecting the theme, the meeting includes innovative content focusing on areas such as mindfulness, a course in reflective writing, an update on nutritional psychiatry, and a special guest live storytelling and music performance.

We hope that in the meeting you will find your mind stimulated, your heart full, and your spirit rejuvenated!

Today, as you know, is preconference day. The main program starts tomorrow and runs through Saturday:

  • Each day features plenary sessions as well as one special invited presidential general session.
  • We have 233 poster presentations on Thursday evening, the largest number ever at the Annual Meeting.
  • We have added pre-recorded oral papers and more live-streamed ones which has allowed us to increase the acceptance rate for oral papers from 44% to 70%!
  • The 65 general sessions are 75 minutes long to focus on high-yield content—and nearly all of them are being live-streamed and recorded.
  • On Friday evening, we celebrate our award winners at a Champagne Awards Toast.
  • Saturday’s plenary on Psychedelic Therapeutics in C-L Psychiatry will be a lively and fun session.
  • To close out Saturday, we have an amazing performance artist who will provide an experiential session combining storytelling and reflective music to nourish our whole selves as healers.
  • All sessions will be recorded and available for future viewing.

Social events and activities include:

  • The fun and festive ACLP Cabana in Miami—stop by Thursday or Friday for social connections and networking!
  • Five early-career breakout sessions convening during Friday’s lunch.
  • An exciting walking and food tour in Little Havana on Friday.
  • The Wednesday Welcome mixer, Thursday opening reception, Trainee Meet and Greet, and lunches Thursday, Friday, and Saturday return this year.
