Theme for this year’s Annual Meeting
The theme for this year’s Annual Meeting is Innovation in C-L Psychiatry: Exploring the Promise and Pitfalls of New Approaches.
“We selected this theme to reflect the mission and values of the meeting—to create a forum that fosters community, collaboration, and discussion in the service of moving our field forward,” say the organizers.
“We hope to cover a broad range of hot topics from a diverse set of viewpoints, from emerging technologies to ethical dilemmas in C-L Psychiatry.
“We look forward to thinking together and preparing to guide our patients and our colleagues through the ever-changing medical landscape.”
The meeting will be held at the JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort and Spa from November 19-22.
Abstract submissions will open in early March. “We are very excited to hear about clinical, educational, and research-related innovations that have the promise to transform the care of individuals with medical and psychiatric illnesses,” says the organizers.
“We are also interested in the potential downstream effects—including both positive and negative—of these innovations. Therefore, we particularly welcome submissions that provide diverse viewpoints related to these innovations and other topics within C-L Psychiatry.”
San Antonio prides itself on one of its best hot spots for an evening stroll and eating out— the River Walk, near historic sites like the Alamo, San Fernando Cathedral, and La Villita Historic Arts Village. The River Walk was named in USA Today’s ‘10 Best Riverwalks Across the US’.
