Support Resources for Interdisciplinary Teams

Content has just been updated

The Interdisciplinary Education Subcommittee has prepared resources to support psychiatrists, advanced practice providers, psychologists, social workers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team working in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Educational resources include the ACLP Interdisciplinary Outpatient Collaborative Care Guide, a detailed bibliography on collaborative care in outpatient settings.

The ACLP Interdisciplinary Inpatient Collaborative Care Guide is a detailed bibliography of literature that can be used to supplement material in teaching interdisciplinary team members about common inpatient C-L Psychiatry topics.

Presentations at past annual meetings are included for watching on YouTube, such as Proactive Psycho-Oncology Consultation and Liaison Service: Collaborative Efforts for Early Intervention presented by Daniel Fishman, MD, and Sheila Lahijani, MD, FACLP.

A list of 19 How -To Guides includes guides on delirium, catatonia, and much more.

Resources for How to build an interdisciplinary team are in a separate section—including models for clinical supervision and best practice guidelines for interprofessional collaboration.
