“Consolidation of technology innovation would be a reasonable way forward for the Academy”

We explore the evolution of telepsychiatry from the perspective of a chair of psychiatry who is introducing it, early 2020, primarily to support community hospitals in his extensive network of a teaching hospital, medical centre, 50 community hospitals, and numerous primary care clinics covering an area 200 miles east to west in Texas.
