APA Presidency Candidates Petitioned on Issues Affecting ACLP Members
The Academy has written to the two nominated candidates for the post of president-elect of the American Psychiatric Association (APA), seeking their views on six key C-L psychiatry issues.
The candidates and their websites are:

The six issues of concern to the Academy involve:
- Maintaining the gains with collaborative and integrated care
- ACLP collaboration with APA
- Psychiatric fellowship training
- Workforce development
- ACLP name change
- Financial models
The questions and the candidates’ responses, published in the News section of the ACLP website, are intended to help us be as fully informed as possible about the candidates' views on these matters as we make our choice in the 2019 election.
Voting deadline is January 31. Election results are expected to be declared mid-February.
